Governance

We are required to comply with, among other regulations, the revised Dutch Corporate Governance Code. Deviations from the Code are explained in accordance with the Code’s “comply or explain” principle. The Code is available at www.mccg.nl.

While Heineken Holding N.V. endorses the principles of the Code, the structure of the HEINEKEN Group, and in particular the relationship between Heineken Holding N.V. and Heineken N.V., prevents Heineken Holding N.V. from applying a number of the Code’s best-practice provisions, as further explained in the Corporate Governance Statement.
